Industry Standard High Definition Video Formats
The ProHawk HD-SDI support various industry standard formats such as SMPTE and HDMI. SMPTE supported formats include: SD-SDI (SMPTE-259M), HD-SDI (SMPTE-292M), & 3G-SDI (SMPTE-424M), and HDMI supported version 1.0-1.4. This covers a broad range of video formats that include: 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i, & 1080p.
An FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is entirely different from CPU, GPU, DSP, etc. FPGA’s are 50 – 100 times more powerful than the CPU.
