Shoichi Sugiyama, Ph.D.

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Sugiyama has more than 30 years of business and academic experience in the aerospace industry, specializing in the defense industry. He played a key management role in the Ishida Aerospace Research Institute in Texas, in developing and marketing airplanes including Tilt-Wing Aircraft. He has supported Japanese Defense Industries in the implementation of performance based logistic contracting. He received a Doctorate from the University of Maryland at College Park and has supervised numerous studies on business development and production optimization. He has served on the management board of several corporations, including emerging growth companies.

Robert Brown

Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Board Director

Mr. Brown is an accomplished, customer driven senior technology executive with over 35 years of progressive management driving technology companies, brands, products, and services across storage management, network management, telecommunications, and cloud computing. Robert is responsible for Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Services. Mr. Brown has served as Chief Executive Officer across a variety of technology industry companies, including: Software CPA, BlackBall, InfiNet Software, and eCritical. Mr. Brown has also been a key executive and Vice President at: Seagate Technology, Seagate Software, Arcada Software, Sterling Software, Mountain Network Solutions, and Emerald Systems Corporation. He has also served as President & Chief Operating Officer for Contigo Software. He has held numerous board director positions over his career including: BlackBall, Hollywood CPR, eCritical, StorActive, Acrylis, Fusion Networks, Linmor Technologies, Contigo Software, and InfiNet Software.

Joe Seebach

Chief Commercial Officer and Board Director

Mr. Seebach is an accomplished business development executive with decades of experience leading the development of strategic relationships and innovative products designed to rapidly penetrate emerging markets. Expert in building and managing high-performance global sales teams, capitalizing on market trends and emerging technologies. Adept in developing and leading go-to-market strategies that have enabled products to achieve, sustain, and protect a dominant market position.

Mr. Seebach is responsible for all commercial operations of the company including: corporate strategy, business development, sales & marketing, strategic partnerships, product development, mergers & acquisitions and financial operations.

Jim McNiel

Chief Strategy Officer and Board Director

Mr. McNiel is a proven technology executive who understands how to translate innovation to inspiration and transform customers into advocates. Jim is a successful entrepreneur with multiple exits including Cheyenne Software, Netegrity, OutlookSoft, NetGear. Jim was recently the Global CMO for NETSCOUT Systems Inc.

Masahiro Kobayashi

Vice President R&D

Kobayashi-san is ProHawk Technology Group’s head of engineering. Mr. Kobayashi is responsible for the architecture and implementation of the company’s patented real-time video enhancement solutions. He is considered one of the leading experts in the field of real-time video enhancement.

David Allen

European Operations

Mr. Allen is a dual US/UK National with 35 years of experience in the High Tech Business, much of it in Europe.  The first third of his career was working in the enterprise software industry in California. He was moved to the UK by Unix based software company Interactive (San Diego) where he continued his career. He then migrated his skill set to the nascent inter-networking business being one of the original executives of Madge Networks (token ring) from founding through the NASDAQ IPO, and then as the 4th employee of Cisco Systems in the UK. After 10 years in the inter-networking business he focused on various start-ups, including Contigo where he started working with Mr. Brown, running European operations through it’s acquisition and IPO by Evoke. He has worked in several start-ups since and has served on a number of company boards as a non-executive director.  He has been a governor of the highest profile special needs school in the UK and is also an elected member of the UK government as a Councillor in the County of Surrey.
